Family house located in a rural zone, surrounded by mountains and sea beatiful landscapes, in full contact with nature, restful surroundings. Easy and fast acess to the crystal blue water from sea, as well as green pedestrian paths surrounded by nature of stunning beauty. “Pereira’s House” is located in Porto da Cruz, in familiar and restful surroundings, with view to lush mountain scenery and the crystal clear waters surrounding the island. Single floor accommodation with private parking and without stairs, suitable for children and people with reduced mobility. The house consists of: Suite with private bathroom; Double Room; Child's bedroom (Cot + single bed); Kitchen; Living room; General bathroom The existing facilities allow for a quiet, comfortable and very comfortable holiday stay, especially for families with children. In addition to an individual crib you have at your disposal a crib coupling to the double bed, suitable for babies up to 6 months, as well as baby bath, diaper changer, among others. The kitchen has all the necessary utensils and equipment for cooking meals, being prepared to receive large families. Considering the extended stays, the house also has a washing machine for the convenience of our guests.

Nous avons été bien accueillis par Norberto et sa famille. La maison est propre et agréable, une maison de famille portugaise typique. La vue est incroyable. Sa mère nous a offert des bananes et des anones de son jardin. Une voiture est nécessaire car les routes sont très pentues et sinueuses, mais la maison est à courte distances des villages de Porto Da Cruz et Faial.
A great host to a great place, would come back anytime to experience more of Madeira, wish we spent longer here.
Easily reachable by car, quiet neighbourhood, amazing view from the house, everything was nice and clean. Very helpful host - quickly replies. It was a perfect stay, if in the future we'll plan to visit Madera again, we would choose Norberto's apartment :) Thank you for your hospitality!

Porto da Cruz (Harbor Cross), one of the parishes of the municipality of Machico, is a charming village on the island of Madeira, just over 30 kilometers from a unique microclimate and mild temperatures all year round, you can stroll along one of the numerous mountain tracks that allow see the landscape on the ocean and enjoy the Atlantic Ocean coastline in the north and mountains to the south. Porto da Cruz is a charming village, situated on the northeast coast of the island, and its settlement was first of all the north coast.
The name comes from a cross that was placed on the coast to indicate that it was a harbor of shelter for Portuguese explorers.
There are two picturesque and characteristic products: sugar cane and a dry red wine, which they call dry wine. Sugar cane is used to produce mainly spirits and honey, they say, in the same way as it was in 1927.
Between Porto da Cruz and Faial you can find a 580-meter-high rock formation called Penha d'Águia, which you can climb up and from there you can see the ocean.
To get to the house you need a car. Although public transport exists, they are limited.
