We had a wonderful stay at Sylvan Beach enjoying the eclipse. We were welcomed by a beautiful sunset over the lake seen through the glass panel garage door. We were able to relax knowing that the entire space was exceptionally clean and that EVERYTHING was accommodated for us. The kitchen had almost every appliance you could need- blender, microwave, French press, nespresso machine with fully stocked coffee bar. The gorgeous bathrooms had all the toiletries and towels available to us, with plenty of hot water. Markets and shops were within walking distance. A 10-15 minute walk along the beach could get you to the pier where the amusement park is and an "upstate style" casino. We got back to watch the eclipse from the rooftop hot tub. Although the rooftop wasn't finished, we could see the potential, as it was soon to have an outside theatre and landscaping for green privacy. We sat above the other rooflines and when it was over we went inside and settled by the fireplace.
