It was a great place. It had a beautiful view and looked as cozy as the photos. The view from the shared space and the rooms were breathtaking. A walk from the ferry which made visiting Zanzibar seamless. The facility is premium and it was easy to cook and do laundry. Also met some nice people sharing the apartments. Downside was that I didn’t realise it was a shared toilet until I got there. This was not clearly stated. My room had some challenges but the host was quite responsive to it. The apartment was also too accessible by several people, some are the cleaners and maids which was okay, but there were some people unexplained (like I saw a young man sleeping in a toilet downstairs in the shared space) who came in and out and this was sort of unsettling. I also feel there needs to be some better due diligence on guests who stay and are paired with other guests in the shared apartments.

Très joli appartement avec une magnifique vue sur la ville, à 5 minutes à pied du ferry donc très pratique. Communication fluide avec l’assistante via message. Seul bémol qui reste à noter: à notre arrivée des femmes de ménage étaient sur place et ne sont parties qu’une heure après… Il n’y a pas de clé pour la porte d’entrée : celle-ci reste ouverte en permanence. Ce qui permettait à une autre femme (avec son bébé qui pleurait…) de venir faire sa lessive dans la buanderie durant la soirée. Cela avait l’air normal pour elle mais pas pour nous… Il serait appréciable de le notifier par avance ou alors de restreindre l’entrée aux personnes qui ne dorment pas dans le logement…

The communication was below par. The host didn't respond on the app, there was no lockbox as described/promised on the app and the pool was not open 24/7 as said on the app. The biggest concern was that people from the whole building were coming to the unit to do their laundry so strangers walked in at any moment, this was not communicated so it was scary when men just walked into the place. The place was true to its description and close to many places like the ferry, downtown and many shops.
