Elliot's Tree Tops sanctuary is a warm, cosy, spacious home away from home set amongst beautiful NZ native bush & birdsong with everything you need - ideal for entertaining or hibernating inside or out. A definite highlight were the two private outdoor bath tubs with spotlighting offering access to a leisurely soak at any time, just a short boardwalk from the front door. Elliot is an attentive, friendly, kind and helpful host, who went the extra mile to make me feel welcome, providing interesting facts on the area and tips & recommendations on various local activities available, hikes/walks, and best places to eat etc. Right next door to Waiho Hot Tubs, the location is perfect for accessing all Franz Josef has to offer within walking distance, while remaining set back within its own magical little slice of west coast paradise. I stayed for a night while passing through and found it so peaceful & relaxing I didnt want to leave, i'm sure you'll feel the same...

Very spacious clean home. It is placed within a caravan stop but surrounded by shrubbery and a large gate so it is very private. The host Elliott is very helpful. And the small town of Franz Josef is a friendly tourist stop with heaps to do. This is a great place to stay

Great location, close to all the places. The house itself is clean, cute, comfortable, well equipped. Perfect for our stay!! I want to mention that Elliot is amazing! Our kid forgot his kindle at another AirBnB. We shipped it to Elliot and he went above and beyond to help us. He made one little kid extremely happy. Thank you so much for hosting us and for being so kind!
