The host Ivis ia above and beyond. She always took care of me, gove me advises and even gave me a great gift of Cubian coffee. This is the ideal airbnb for me in Central Havana

Ivis is a very friendly and highly competent host. She is always friendly and very helpful with the little problems you might encounter in Cuba (getting a cab to the airport, finding a post office if you want to send postcards, etc.) If you know a little Spanish it definitely makes conversation much easier, but this is true for Cuba in general. The place is easy to reach (no problem if you come from the airport by cab) and, for our needs, perfectly located: 20 minutes walk to the Capitol and Parque Central (where the buses for City Tours T1 and the beach T3 are). El Melancon, the The rooms are cleaned everyday, there is a bathroom with every room, you even have a safe in case you are afraid of your valuables. The house is built Cuban style, i.e. nice tiles everywhere and, though the rooms are not too spacious, there is an ample living room with a little balcony. One floor higher there is a huge, great sun roof we enjoyed every evening. A perfect place to have a Cuban cigar with a couple of drinks (buy rum in local stores) and play DOMINO, obviously the favourite game in Cuba. Another advantage is the restaurant downstairs. The food is really good (there might be fancier restaurants in town but we didn't find any where the food was better) and as you are staying in the house you get a huge discount on the meals. To sum it all up - it is a great place to stay and we really enjoyed it a lot. Thank you, Ivis !

Everything was great! The house of Ivis is beautiful, a real colonial house! The rooms are very clean qnd the house has a beautiful terrace as well. Position is great, only 15min walk from all the attraction of Havana, but still not so turistic as the Havana Vieja. We spend there the new year and that was a great experience. Moreover, Ivis was really helpful with everything. She provided us with transportation and houses in other cities. I really suggest this place!!

Le logement est spacieux et les chambres sont très propres.La grande salle meublée de bois donne sur un balcon où l'on peut y voir l'animation du quartier.L'endroit est calme et possède une terrasse.Le logement est situé à côté du restaurant appartenant à Ivis,on y mange de la bonne cuisine locale et de bons petit déjeuners(5CUC :Jus frais,fruits frais,gateaux maison,oeufs,café,thé,beurre,confiture,pain,bocadillo).Le logement est à 5 mns à pieds du parque central ( On peut y prendre un bus pour les belles plages de l'est en autre Santa Maria) et à 10 mns à pieds de habana vieja. Ivis et son mari sont à vos petits soins et vous donne toutes les infos nécessaires pour passer un bon séjour à la Havane. Ivis nous a rendu service plusieurs fois,elle est chaleureuse et vraiment accueillante tout comme l'équipe du restaurant.L'hospitalité à la cubaine.Un grand merci à Ivis.Je recommande cette casa particular
