Our stay at the Nest was excellent!!! Everything was as described and our hosts were extremely helpful with everything. Definitely a place we recommend to stay at if you are looking for a peaceful, private and close to nature place!!!

Die Unterkunft war größer als erwartet & liebevoll eingerichtet. Sehr gut gefallen haben uns die bereitgelegten Zeitschriften mit Attraktionen, anhand derer wir unsere Woche geplant haben. Die Unterkunft liegt in einem schönen Dorf & von dort kann man direkt los wandern. Die komplette Wohnung konnte durch uns genutzt werden und man hatte seine Privatsphäre. Die Unterkunft würden wir auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.

I can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay was and how great our hosts were. This is a gem. We had to be close to Colorado Springs and this was perfect. They’re not kidding when they say there’s hiking at the end of the block. It was gorgeous! The kitchen was very well equipped and we used the gas grill a lot. Having coffee on the deck and listening to the birds was a treat. Again, can’t say enough. We’ll be back.

自我介绍
We are married and have 2 adult children, one here in Colorado and one in Portland, Oregon. Nancy is a former support services teacher and John is an artist and former screen-print company owner. We've lived in Palmer Lake since 1981, and love our small town at the edge of the mountains. We have national forest at the end of the street to the west and the lake 2 blocks to the east. We absolutely loved raising our kids here with so many outdoor things to do, while still being only 5 minutes from Monument and I-25 where additional stores and restaurants are. We adore watching the wildlife that wanders through, especially the hummingbirds and deer. Did you know that the deer will eat the pumpkins after Halloween is over? We also love being able to walk to several restaurants and the best ice cream shop ever, as well as a public library and the annual activities at the Village Green in front of the town hall.
