Keep watch for monkeys on the grounds! The Tree Bungalow is a tastefully finished one-bedroom treehouse that stands amidst the cloud forest canopy in the mountains between Lake Arenal and Monteverde. Excellent for birdwatching. Views of the lake can be seen through the branches below. A symphony of tropical birds and the Caño Negro river flowing down below in the valley will be the main sounds you hear. Due to the altitude of our location we have fresh breezes during the warm days and cool crisp nights. Therefore, air conditioning is absolutely not necessary. We are blessed to have spring-time temperatures year round. Milagro is a completely off-grid and self-sufficient homestead. We produce our own electricity from Solar panels., Thus, we ask for your cooperation in not using a hair dryer on cloudy days or during the night time as it can cause issues for our system. Additionally, we have our own artesian spring well for water. The bedroom has a double bed and there is a futon in the living room with a high quality mattress for a comfortable sleep. We will provide you locally produced ingredients so you can prepare your own breakfast. For example, eggs, bread, Jam, Seasonal Fruits, Coffee. If you have special dietary needs, let Jose know. The kitchen is well equipped so you can enjoy your homemade meals, including a good sized fridge, stove top, coffee maker and blender. The treehouse is intended for respectful enjoyment of nature and all its elements. Thus, this might not be the place for you if you are interested to have a late night party or if you want to play loud music. You are literally in the branches of the rainforest and thus you might find harmless insect visitors from time to time. The wi-fi is totally reliable and good for normal usage. However, if you require something that is super technical or very heavy on the broadband then you might experience some brief buffering. The parking is 100m away from the treehouses, at the entrance of the property. There is NO SMOKING inside the treehouse. Smoking only in the designated areas.
