The perfect place to relax & unwind surrounded by nature & rescue horses on our country farm away from city. Family owned & operated: hope to see you soon!! Lu’s Hideaway has open floor plan with a queen bed and pullout sofa for four adults to sleep comfortably. The Kitchenette is fully equipped with refrigerator, two-burner stove & coffee pot. Kitchen supplied with standard pots, pans and dishes and utensils necessary to prepare meals. Also, there are basic spices, coffee, creamer, sugar and bottled water. There are kitchen and bath towels and cleaning supplies for your use. There are books, games and toiletries in case you forgot something. There is an outside fire-pit, swing and outside kitchen.

What a peaceful and beautiful place Carrie has created, The cabin is right next to the water where you can kayak, fish or swim, Carrie brought us some fresh eggs in the morning, what a nice touch. Great location, wonderful host. Her passion for her property is undeniable. We will be back!!!!!
My husband and I booked this place for his mother, sister and cousin. First, the communication from the host was spectacular. Obviously we couldn’t be there to make sure they got inside okay and all of the extra little steps but she went above and beyond to make sure they had everything they needed. They called us multiple times bragging on how beautiful Carries place is. They told us that it is the most peaceful and beautiful place they have ever stayed. They fell in love with Carries place and are already planning a trip back. Carrie was also so kind and let them feed the animals, which they absolutely loved. Overall, this place is a hidden gem and you’re missing out if you don’t stay here and enjoy this beautiful, little slice of heaven. The kindness from Carrie tops it off and makes your stay feel completely at home!
Lu’s Hideaway was amazing! The cabin had everything you would need! The bed was super comfortable too! The location was my favorite part! It is right next to the water where you can kayak, fish or swim. The whole area was so well organized and so much attention to detail was given to this Airbnb. Carrie was a fabulous host! She was so helpful and responsive to us! I would definitely recommend staying here, it was one of the best Airbnbs we have ever stayed in! Can’t wait to come back!
If you are lookimg to unwind in a serene countryside setting with all the amenities of home, you found the right place! You can literally show up with a toothbrush and some clothes. Everything else you may need is already is this cozy cabin with beautiful views of the water. Cookware,linens, books, games, and so much more. Carrie is the "host with the most" ! She has thought of every detail. We stayed on for our anniversary and Mother's Day weekend. Carrie went above and beyond to make our stay special and so memorable! one of my favorite amenities was the full outdoor kitchen with sink, grill and mini fridge. She is doing amazing work and was willing to introduce us to some of her horses. Her passion for her property is undeniable. We can't wait to stay again soon!

If looking for small town vibes and country living; this is the place for you. Located on a private paved dead-end road on a working farm. We are a working farm rescue and your stay here will help us keep saving large animals including horses donkeys and mules.
Parking is free both here at the lake and in town which means we have the country feel with conveniences of a small town. Our town has 8 restaurants / fast food with delivery options. There are auto parts stores and groceries stores and a few gas station / convenience stores. We have a local creamery and three banks with atms. There are small boutiques, antique and gun shops on the main street in town. Major malls and other big outlets and stores are within 30 minutes. Charlotte NC, Columbia, SC and others are 45 minutes away.
