Sehr geräumiges zweistöckiges Appartement. Ruhige erhöhte Wohnlage mit sensationeller Sicht auf die Bucht. Helio und seine Frau Vera waren sehr hilfsbereit. Die Ausstattung der Küche ist ausreichend um sich ein Frühstück zu machen. Zwei Schlafzimmer, eins mit dem besagten Blick vom Balkon. Den Flughafen erreicht man in ca. 15min. Perfekt für ein paar Tage auf Terceira. Auto ist erforderlich um überall hinzugelangen. Gerne wieder und danke Euch Helio&Vera (cr&dr)

We stayed 4 nights and found the home roomy, comfortable and well maintained. Helio and Vera were very friendly and welcoming. The balcony is as advertised: a really nice place to have a glass of wine and look at the amazing view. The location is a bit out of the way, but close to everything (the island is not very big :). It felt to us like a neighborhood that is getting more luxurious by the moment (there were some very nice, fairly new homes overlooking the ocean and some older, more working-class properties, which will probably not be there in a few years). The kitchen was comfortable. It lacked some items (like a cutting board) and had no condiments (no oil, salt, sugar, etc) so it’s best to stop in the store in town and get all you need if you plan to do any cooking. Finally, if you use gps to get there, it may direct you to the right street but wrong house number. Just go by the actual numbers on the houses and you’ll find it.

Our family of three adults found the house to be perfect. We had access to an enclosed garage, which was very nice to get in and out of our rental car when it was raining. The house was super clean, had a well stocked kitchen, and two complete bathrooms. Two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs and the large living room and kitchen are downstairs. The second bathroom is in the garage. We enjoyed evening breezes off the ocean on the 2nd bedroom balcony. The air conditioning was 2 separate split units, one in the master bedroom, and one downstairs for the kitchen/living area. The second bedroom didn’t receive the a/c, so we bought a small fan to keep the room cool at night. Our hosts, Hélio and Vera were incredibly friendly, even sharing their garden delights. They are the type of people that engage you immediately and you feel very welcome. The location is off the beaten path, private and quiet, but also close to anywhere we needed to drive to.

When we arrived we were kinda lost thanks to navigation and no fault to our host. He came and found us and we when we arrived it was better than we could have imagined. We not only had a view of the mountains, we also had a view of the beautiful ocean. He was very friendly and gave us a tour of the property. He also gave great restaurants and things to do on the island. everything exceeded our expectations and we would stay again.

Our stay here was even better than we expected. The house was roomy and immaculate. The views from the balcony were outstanding. We took coffee in the morning up there and had wine at dusk. The hosts were warm, friendly and very accommodating. I rarely write reviews- but this stay was that special. Absolutely coming back. Highest recommendation possible.
