The Coachman would have slept and lived alongside the horses. The Coachman’s room has an exposed brick fireplace and chimney breast, dark oak beams and a double bed. There’s a spacious en-suite with cubicle shower, WC and a washbasin with vanity unit in the room, built in wardrobe and a view over the hills to the rear. The Coach House is located close to the centre of Wirskworth, a fantastic, historic market town, offering many town amenities such as shops, cafes and pubs. You can easily get to places such as Matlock Bath, a walk down Cromford Canal, or to Chatsworth House. You are spoilt for choice with walking routes to take, whether you prefer hilly field hikes or keeping on a relatively flat trail there is something for all, Carsington Water is close by which is an 8-mile route around the reservoir, perfect for walking or cycling, but there are also many water activates and bird watching on offer too.
