A charming studio chock full of everything needed to make your stay easy and wonderful. We offer a rustic getaway for two-four guests. We're pet-friendly too! We're about 10 minutes from Raystown Lake and Juniata College. We're 40 minutes from State College/Penn State University/Bryce Jordan Center. Restaurants, coffee shops, wineries, breweries, cideries, distilleries... hiking, biking, repelling, kayaking, bouldering. Check out our cool add-ons! Massage, Sunset Cruise.... We've got you! The house is a quaint arts and crafts style cottage with free parking in the front. When staying in the Studio, you may pull down the driveway near the back of the house to park. Enter the Studio through the door under the carport. The studio is rustic, private, dark and cozy. It's got the feels of a log cabin! Feel free to have your coffee time on the patio or swing, which is directly outside your room. There may be guests who choose to have their breakfast served on the patio or who want to lounge or read. LIke the rest of The Pause, the Studio is pet-friendly. Walk out your door and head to our local park. It's a beautiful park with a pond, a track to walk/run and so much more. Raystown Lake is only ten minutes, or so, away! -DON'T FORGET all those add-ons like turn down service, borrowing the bikes for a ride tp our beautiful local park, rent the kayaks and we'll charter you, in Spring we'll begin offering sunset cruises or afternoon floats, on Lake Raystown. We'll offer wine and a charcuterie board for sunset cruises and a cold lunch for day floats.
