It was a great stay in Paola flat. Very convenient to go to Palerme. Flat is very clean. The view form the Terrass is amazing on Palerme city & sea. Paola is very helpfull and very reactiv to all your needs during you stay. She makes your life easier. Clearly one of the best Airbnb experience we had since 2 years.

Must stay here any one visiting Monreale or Palermo. Or just the West side of Sicily. From here you can anywhere under 2hrs. The entire building is new construction, excellent decor, underground/gated parking and even an elevator. The service is outstanding and Paola answers questions almost immediately. Any minor issue is fixed quickly. She offers guidance and assistance to anywhere in the village or even nearby. Best host ever

Paola's place receives excellent reviews from guests, rightly so! The appartement located in a modern small building with elevator and gated garage is a 10 minutes walk to the city center or the bus stop making it a good base to visit Palermo ( a 20 minutes direct bus ride to the historical heart) at the end of a two ways narrow road with places to get two cars aside. The apartment is bright, full of light with a terrace overlooking the valley that provides an outstanding view by day and by night and a great place to relax. Inside there is everything for comfort ( washing machine, oven, fast internet). We spent 10 days in Monreale and enjoyed the easy going ,friendly feel of the town where shopkeepers take the time to strike a conversation . But what made our stay special was the care and warmth of Poala who wanted us to feel at home: homemade Monreale biscotti, medlars fruits , fruit juices and a small departing gift . Poala even kept me informed about the changes of the Crucifix procession schedule due to the weather. Paola and her family deeply care for the well being of their guests and want them to have the best of time in Monreale; for all these I strongly recommend her place!

Paola's flat was spotless, modern, comfortable and with a superb view of Palermo in the valley, the surrounding mountains and the sea. Very nice to be welcomed by Paola's mum who also gave us a lift into Monreale on her way to 'fare la spesa' as we were running late to see the Cathedral. Finding the flat was a bit tricky - we did 2 U-turns I think and the 1:45 right angle slope into Monreale nearly finished off the car. I think there may be an easier way to get there! But once we got there the location was perfect. We only had a very short stay and the provisions of water, juice etc were exactly what we needed. We enjoyed visiting Monreale and the walk back to the flat with glimpses of the non tourist Monreale as well. We LOVED the Taverna del Pavone - very nice service and great food - about the best we had in Sicily. And of course Filippo too! All in all a perfect stopover for a visit to Monreale before flying home the next day from Palermo.
