Matt and his wife, Marta, exude warmth and kindness. The care that they have put into their home sets the tone for how they treat their guests. I could not have been happier with my stay, and was a bit emotional when having to say goodbye and step out the door. For anyone needing to visit or stay in Philadelphia, I cannot recommend their home enough.

Matt is an amazing host, super friendly and helpful. The apartment is awesome and the location is nice and tucked away. I stayed for a month and it was perfect for me. My only complaint is that you have to be mindful about where you go around the edges of Fishtown, some areas are really not so nice. If you walk towards downtown Fishtown where Il Colombe is it’s very nice and there’s a bunch of cool food and coffee spots. Matt was also great in giving a long list of recommendations, many of which I tried and went to regularly during my stay.

I stayed at Matt's for two months, and had a superb time. The house is very cozy, with a chill couch and living room area, a spacious kitchen, and a beautiful yard for when it's sunny outside. The rooms are rather small, but Matt did a great job at furnishing them with everything you need. He offered me his second bike, which was super convenient to get around Fishtown and to the Berks subway station. There also are several bus lines that made it easy to go to Temple university (careful, the bus sometimes leaves 5 minutes early!). There are plenty of nice restaurants and coffee shops in walking or biking distance. Matt is a wonderful and welcoming person who makes sure that his guests feel at ease, and also did a great job at renovating the house. It's very unique and pretty! Communication was very easy and he made sure to answer any questions I had. He also apparently does a great job at selecting his guests - both roommates who I met during my stay were great personalities and easy to live with. When visiting Philly in the future, I would definitely consider staying at Matt's again. A huuuge thank you for your support and hospitality! 🧡

Matt's place was amazing. It's in a unique part of the city with easy access to the public transportation needed to explore the rest of Philly. Matt gave a ton of recommendations that were all wonderful and has curated the space to be incredibly comfortable and renewing. would absolutely recommend staying here if you're interested in seeing Philly
