Overall Camp Domo was a great place to stay. The security system made it feel very safe at night and we were comfortable leaving stuff in our tent while exploring. The tent was nice especially during the day time. They do supply a little lamp for the night but it emits so little light you're better off using your phone torch. We spent most of our time on the beach and taking surf lessons from the surf shop right next door. If you want to go into Faro town, there's a ferry that's cheap and easy to take. The main issue was the airport noise. It is so so so loud. You can hear the planes taking off most of the night and in the couple hours where they stop, people rev their engines on the road behind the camp so you never really get any quiet. We know the camps isn't in control of the noise so we've not taken off any stars from the review but just a heads up if you're sensitive to noise or a light sleeper it might be something to consider.

Located at Praia de Faro, a refuge 15 min ride from the city centre and just beside the national park - this Airbnb offers a unique experience of living in 4 metres tent glowing red as the sun reflects the color of the fabric inside the tent itself. This might be viewed as a disadvantage, as we had to use torches to navigate the tent due to the lack of visibility (apart from red), but in coming to this beautiful location, staying inside for too long was never our plan so it wasn’t a big inconvenience to us + the mystery and moodiness of it all is always something to look forward to when coming back for stuff. There are shared facilities such as restrooms and kitchen which are rarely ever occupied, and even a wending machine with water cheaper than in shops(there are two in total on the island). Overall, all necessities are provided and you feel comfortable. Our host was very helpful! Sunrise AND sunset are visible either from your very own terrace or the beach(5 min walk!) I RECOMMEND!
