Unser Aufenthalt vom 21.Dez.2023 bis 6.Jän.2024 war perfekt. Die Landschaft des Tales ist einzigartig schön. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung in der Natur sucht ist hier richtig. Andererseits ist man zu verschiedenen Wanderzielen gut gelegen, auch nach Las Palmas ist es gut 30 Minuten. Der Kaminofen war ideal, da es am Abend in der Barranco relativ kühl war und wir haben ihn täglich am Abend eingeheizt, was ein weiterer Wohlfühlfaktor war. Juan Carlos und seine Frau sind perfekte und sehr nette Gastgeber. Man kann die Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen.

We had an amazing time in the Finca. You must know that the Finca is located in the north of Gran Canaria, which has a completely different vegetation and weather than the big touristic cities in the south. Even though it might be a little colder, however, the Virgin Valley (where the house is located) is a lovely little jungle with lots of green plants and trees. After seeing also the other, rather vulcano-like areas of the island, we can totally recommend staying in the north and would do it again. Getting to house is maybe a little difficult, but doable with a little driving experience. You may need an extra 15 or 20 minutes from the next bigger city to the house, but you are rewared with a nice farmhouse and a lovely garden just for yourself, far away from other tourists. Perfect experience, thank you Juan for your hospitality :)

We, a family with three small kids and the grandparents, had a wonderful stay at the house of Dolores and Juan. The house is well designed and decorated with lots of dedication! The outside area was great for our boys to run around and play. It is super quiet and a great place to enjoy nature. However, a car is recommendable! The communication with Juan was perfect. We can absolutely recommend it :)
