Michele is an amazing host and we enjoyed our stay at her beautiful cabin. We went there as we wanted to find a place close to Mt. katahdin and this place is just about an hour away from the Mountain so it was quite convenient. There is true wilderness all around and we loved the serin and calming environment of the woods so if you are looking something similar then this is your place definitely. Plus there is so much to do at the cabin, whether it is fishing(fishing gear available), sitting next to the river, you can also enjoy barbeque and fire pit area which we did on the second day of our stay, a lot of board are also available. Michele and her husband has planned the place quite thoroughly and extensively as you will be anything you want at the cabin available for usage. Specially loved the muffins, marmalade jam and special treats she left for us, made our stay even wonderful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking to enjoy the best cabin stay.

Michele's off-grid cabin in the woods was nothing short of amazing. A quiet, peaceful location with a gorgeous river view. The cabin itself had everything you could ever need, comfy beds, a great shower, a kitchen with the cutest pottery dishes. The wood stove heated the house wonderfully, and there was plenty of space for the 8 people we had. The kids loved running around in the woods surrounding the property too. Mike even brought us over some fishing stuff!! Both hosts were incredibly friendly and wanted to ensure we had a lovely stay. Which we did. :) The fire pit out back was a perfect outdoor hang out spot as well, with lots of different campfire cooking supplies. We had our first experience making "pudgey pies" on the fire and they were DELICIOUS. If you're looking for a quiet place to check-out and get away, nestled in nature, with lots of space to explore... this is it. We all want to go back! Wish we had stayed a little longer.
