The flat was refurbished well and clean. It was in a good location. Most things you needed were in the flat. However, we found the duvet inadequate as it wasn't warm enough and there was lots of storage but no extra covers to keep warm. On the first we wanted a wash only but found the water was cold in the bathroom sink. However it subsequently turned out that the taps were wrongly labelled. This led is to contact the host whose tone was less than helpful. We were told that we must have drained the hot water which we hadn't. More instructions followed and after another while we had checked all taps to find the problem which was the wrong labelling of the taps. A similar process occured when we found difficulty with the electric heaters. We were told the problem was that previous people had meddled with them. We were left to our own devices and there were no instructions. The first night we had no heating and were very cold but eventually sorted out the heating. The stay improved then.

Lovely clean space with all amenities needed for the stay. Located in a great small town with plenty of restaurants and shops. Short drive away from many great walking/hiking routes

The apartment is in the middle of the centre of Settle. We parked on the suggested cat park and walked through the commercial centre. Really easy to find from there. The apartment is on the 2nd floor and you do get beautiful views of the hills out the front windows. It has a relaxed, arty feel to the dwelling. I felt at home straight away. Loved all the blankets. Not that you need them, as the apartment is lovely and warm. The apartment seemed newly decorated and was very clean. Has all you'll need for a few nights away. Loads of walks from the door step. Plenty of places to eat & drink. Loads of cute little shops. Booths & 2 convience stores ate all in walking distance. We ate in The Talbot once. They had live music on the Friday night. Lovely friendly pub. Definitely worth the money.
