Our idyllic holiday home is just a 2-minute walk from Glenelg Beach in Adelaide. Gen's Place is a renovated 1900s cottage brimming with loving little details, comfortable furnishings, and stylish decor. It’s the ultimate, cosy abode for couples, groups of friends or even a family getaway, to relax, and create joyful memories together. Gen's Place can be either rented as a 2 or 3 bedroom home. A standard booking has access to 2 bedrooms, a third for an additional cost can be arranged. The house is well-equipped with everything you’ll need to feel comfortable throughout your stay. Spend your days at the beach, sip on your favorite wine on the veranda, or enjoy group dinners in the outdoor alfresco dining area. Gen's Place can be either rented as a 2-bedroom or 3-bedroom home with 1-bathroom. It can comfortably sleep up to 7 people, a standard booking comes with access to 2 bedrooms, if you wish to utilise the third for an additional cost please enter 5 people when booking regardless of your group size. I will confirm bedding arrangements with you directly. The first bedroom has a Queen Bed and the second bedroom has 2 large Single Beds (which can be made into a King Bed). The additional third bedroom has a Queen Bed, there is also a foam mattress and fold out couch for larger bookings. All bedrooms are spacious, with high-quality furnishings, plush bedding, and artful decor. Your comfort comes first and we want you to feel as relaxed as possible, which is why we happily provide all fresh linens, bedding, and bath towels during your stay at Gen's Place. These are included within the cleaning fee. We hope these additional details make your holiday even more enjoyable. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the tools and appliances you’ll need to prepare your own meals. You’ll find glassware, pots and pans, dinnerware, a coffee maker, tea kettle and more. There’s a dining room with a table and chairs where you can enjoy your meals, or better yet, gather family-style for dinners in the alfresco dining area. The house is conveniently located within walking distance to the beach as well as numerous cafés, restaurants, shops, and attractions. Be sure to walk over to the Glenelg Jetty to catch spectacular sunsets in the evenings, and enjoy some food and drinks at the numerous beachside eateries. There’s no shortage of fun things to do and see in the nearby area, all just a stone’s throw away from Gen’s Place. Soak up some leisurely downtime in the spacious lounge room area. There is a smart TV with Netflix where you can enjoy family movie nights and lazy afternoons. Stay connected throughout your stay with high-speed WiFi, which is available in all rooms of the house. If you’d like to clean your clothes during your stay, feel free to use the washing machine and laundry tub to do your washing. Laundry powder is provided. There is a clothes steamer in the front bedroom wardrobe for guests to use.
