Our stay at the Luna Dome was amazing! Plenty of space and beautiful scenery. We were able to see wild moose, mule deer and plenty of colorful birds. The housing itself has so much room and provided a peaceful week for our group to get away in the mountains. only 15 from Idaho Springs for groceries, breweries and shops. Everyone raved about how nice the dome was how much they enjoyed their stay. The hosts were great at communicating with us whenever we needed anything or had questions. Would definitely recommend for family get aways and large groups.
The Luna Dome is absolutely absolutely gorgeous! A hidden gem in the mountains. Very well built, beautiful with every little detail so well thought out. Very spacious and ample room for large families and friends! The hosts are very responsive, and tended to our requests and questions right away! The sauna is 💯! We enjoyed it very much and the views from the dome are simply spectacular! We had a snow day and bright sunny days and got to see the stunning Rockies in both the scenarios. The house is located at a great spot and the drive up the mountain was easy! The dome is also a 1 hour drive to Vail or Breck and about 1.5 hours to the Rocky Mountain national park. A Very convenient spot. We enjoyed our stay very very much. The basement is very cozy as well and we enjoyed watching our movies there. We had a fabulous experience over all and with the fabulous hosts, this place is absolutely highly recommended! Our 3.5 year toddler had the time of his life as well. Must try!A++!
Awesome cabin / dome, looks like the pictures. Amazing views of the mountains out back. Had 8 in our group but could easily fit more in the house. Hot tub and sauna were fun amenities. Host responded quickly to any questions and was very accommodating. Would absolutely rent again!

In the winter, a 4-wheel drive vehicle with snow tires is essential. Despite regular plowing, steep inclines are much more manageable with a capable vehicle, presenting challenges without it.
During summer, we recommend four-wheel drive SUVs for ease over the terrain and around large rocks. Sedans should maneuver carefully; sports cars are not advised due to the rugged driveway.
Be aware that visibility diminishes after sunset. Arriving in daylight is advisable for safe navigation and to appreciate the scenic approach to The Luna Dome.
