This place is in a small group of traditional summer grazing houses in a lovely position up the valley side from Ollomont and has wonderful views across and up the valley. It’s simple accommodation, but had everything we needed and made a perfect base for a walking holiday. There are some paths going up from the road end above the house, but having a car made it easy to access paths up to high places from Glassier at the head of the valley and to get to get to Lac de Place Moulin for the iconic walk up to Lac Mort. It also meant we could stock up from the big supermarkets in Aosta and make quick trips to local shops in Ollomont and Valpelline. It’s a very beautiful valley, quiet and relatively unknown, but there are plenty of places to eat out and cafes at Glassier and Lac de Place Moulin provided welcome coffee and snacks at the end of walks.

Joli appartement au cœur des montages de la vallée d'Aoste. séjour calme et reposant dans le petit et très typique hameau de Chanté, que nous avons trouvé superbe. l'appartement est simple et rustique. il rempli les fonctions qu'on peut attendre de lui. très bonne communication avec notre hôte. seul petit bémol, le manque de connexion internet, qui peut par ailleurs être un atout pour ceux qui souhaitent déconnecter pendant les vacances.

Heerlijke plaats om te verblijven als je van rust en eenvoud houdt. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig en het is allemaal erg netjes. Katia helpt je graag verder om de fijnste plekken in de vallei te ontdekken. Echt een aanrader!
