Mohija Homestay is conveniently situated in the charming town of Kandaghat, a mere 25 km from the bustling state capital of Shimla and the famous tourist place Chail. The property is located along the national Kalka Shimla Highway, making it easily accessible by various modes of transportation.
If you prefer to drive, you can reach the homestay by your own car, and rest assured, public parking facilities will be provided near the property for your convenience.
Alternatively, you can opt for a scenic train journey. Board the Shtabdi Express from Delhi to Kalka, and from there, catch the connecting toy train that will take you to Shimla. Disembark at Kandaghat railway station, which is in close proximity to the homestay. If you prefer a more direct route, you can book an cab service from Kalka to Kandaghat.
For those seeking a comfortable bus journey, consider taking the New Delhi to Shimla Volvo bus, and de-board at Kandaghat, which offers a convenient way to reach your destination.

The couple decided to live a peaceful life and be closer to nature. They moved to their native place Kandaghat in Himachal Pradesh and followed their passion for starting a Homestay facility for the traveler. Mohit has a decade of experience in event management and corporate communications while Pooja as a mechanical engineer is very passionate about interior design and hospitality. The name of the homestay is selected by the name of the host daughter ‘Mohija’ which is a combination of the couple's name, a symbol of Family and Love. Mohija Homestay was made in continuation of the theme - Family and Love. The homestay was designed to make guests feel like a home away from home. In today’s fast-faced life, one does not have the luxury of time or budget flexibility while planning for a long family trip. We at Mohija Homestay are ready to host you for your long trip with flexibility on a budget. We not only host you at our home but also provide you with necessary information about the traveling places around the city, by serving you as your local guide.
