dead bird on floor on arrival. bird droppings in all rooms with droppings on furnishings, soft furnishings, bedding etc. host not overly concerned - no offer to arrange for cleaning or to assess where bird got into house. Had to clean ourselves best we could . on inspection the house was quite dusty with cobwebs on bedroom walls and dust on skirting boards - i didn’t inform the host of this until a few days later as was making the most of our stay . Although it was communicated that they had stayed in the house themselves a few days prior . damp musty smell on arrival and on returning home i had to wash all of my sons clothes who stayed in the smaller bedroom as all his clean clothes smelt of a foosty smell. the overall location of the house was great , within walking distance to the coop and the dark island . we did get £20 back for having to clean the place ourselves but considering the overall cost we all found that the cleanliness of the property didn’t match the price paid

Beautiful cottage in a great location for exploring north and south Uist. Would highly recommend and will definitely be going back again.

Really accommodating especially whilst we were needing to keep extending our stay whilst there was availability. excellent location and great for basing ourselves during work.

Très bien ! Le logement spacieux pour 6 personnes, mais nous étions que 2 personnes, alors super Top. Nous recommandons c’est location. Merci & maybe see you an other day.
