Come escape & relax at our secluded, cozy glamping tent in Moab! We are built into and surrounded by towering redrock formations on the bank of the Colorado River. This is a popup for only one season so book fast! Enjoy the great outdoors while enjoying the amenities of a king bed, central bathroom, high-speed Starlink wifi at common areas, kayaking and stunning views! We're in the heart of Moab so there is plenty of hiking, climbing & adventuring to be had!🏜 primalresorts .com You’ll have your very own intimate cozy glamping tent, your home under a trillion stars! Our property has a centrally located bathhouse that has 4 bathrooms with spacious, hot water showers, toilets, mirrors and sinks just 50-150ft from your tent. Each site offers a small fire pit to help bring in the camping vibe. There is no gathering firewood on site so bring your own or you can purchase some on site. Towels for the showers are not provided but can be purchased on site if needed. Power is not available in each tent but the bathhouse does have outlets. High speed WiFi is available on site in the common area near the bathhouse. We are a rustic and secluded ranch in the heart of canyon country that is completely OFF-GRID, but with cozy amenities to make your stay with us a highlight of the trip. Self Checkin- We often have staff on site but guests are welcome to find their tent number and settle in on their own.

Wish I could have stayed for longer! Great location. Amazing views. Great place to unplug and relax
Staff was friendly and helpful with few requests we had. Hot shower was a nice option. Great location if you want to take a scenic drive to Canyonlands via Shafer canyon. Glamping tents are few minutes walk from the river bank. No beach over there - it is covered with bushes. Tents are in a field, located quite close to each other, do not expect much privacy, unless other tens empty. Overall, felt overpriced for stay in tent, but proximity to Shafer canyon could worth it
Loved this place! I did have to help some other find it, you will be driving past private property signs. Look for signs that say “the caves” a little rocky but easy and beautiful! The property is beautiful, tents were adorable. Next time I’m staying in the caves for sure! If you have a 4 wheel drive with a little clearance you have access to “the back door into Canyonlands national park” it’s an insanely beautiful and adrenaline filled ride. Aka the Shafer Trail. Enjoy your glamping!
These tents are in a scenic location. But you’re already in a very scenic area and you don’t really need to drive an hour off road to reach a quiet campsite in Moab. There are 4 showers + toilets + sinks which are shared by 10 glamps, 10-15 over campsites and the cave dwellers. So there is almost always a line. They are very cramped. Our booking was a glamp, but it’s not like the photos or other glamps. It’s just a dusty, dirty tent with cheapest Wayfair bed, mattress etc. It differs wildly from the photos. It’s not cute or anything. If you’re looking for a rustic, secluded spot to camp, this is a good fit. But it’s impossible to justify the $300/night. And you can do rustic camping across many locations in canyonlands or arches. We saw a bunch of better spots to camp on the drive to this place by colorado river.
We loved our time glamping! The bed was super comfortable and the tent was clean. The drive in and out was gorgeous and the location was extremely remote, which is what we were looking for. It took us exactly 45 minutes to get there from downtown Moab. Directions are decent, but I’d add that you are following blue signs that say “the caves”. Once you get to their driveway, you still have another 1.3 miles to go to get to the turnoff for the tents.

Our driveway is through a gorgeous redrock canyon along the Colorado River with spectacular vistas as you pass Corona Arch and drive along the fabled Shafer Trail which offers backcountry access to the Canyonlands National Park itself.

Moab is the ultimate outdoor playground and just 30 minutes away.
You can play all day and escape back to your own peaceful Airstream with your loved ones, nature and the most incredible starry nights.
We offer exciting activities: Electric Dirt Bike Tours of the area, Kayaks for rent to float the Colorado River as well as Introductory Flight/Training from our private airstrip on the property.
Endless world class jeeping, hiking, biking, river rafting, kayaking, paddle boarding, climbing, National Parks and more abounds!
Parking is available in a designated area a few feet from your tent. Access to the private ranch location requires travel on a dirt road, but 4x4 and high-clearance in not needed.
Uber exists here finally but is rather limited outside downtown Moab.
Our property is surrounded by the Bureau of Land Management public lands so bring your hiking boots, your mountain bike and kayak to explore the endless local trails along the Colorado River.
We have a private airstrip here at the ranch and offer instructional flights as intro to flying! Message your Host for more info.
