The property was beautiful and looked exactly like the pictures. It was charming on the outside and so nicely remodeled on the inside. I almost chose to give this place 4 stars because the walls were so thin. We were able to hear the people next door going up and down the stairs at 3am. Also it seemed that whoever cleans did not check the shower and it was clogged and was nearly overflowing by the time I was done showing. Lastly, the coffee machine was leaking water from the bottom so we were unable to get our morning coffee in bed. Other than those things, the place was seriously so beautiful and nicely furnished. The best part was that there were robes and beach towels already in the room.

The room was fine and the new furnishings are nice. The bed was comfortable. We expected a B&B experience but couldn't figure out how to get into the 'big house' at all or find anyone on the premises to ask. We would have liked to at least see the historic inn as we're history buffs, but the front door was locked and there was no one around to explain anything to us. (Our room was in a separate building.) That was disappointing. It may have been explained in the listing and we just didn't read it thoroughly.

We only spent one night as we were coming back from Kauai and flying the next day to Maui but the place was spotless clean, looked exactly like the pictures and they were very friendly and responsive. It’s close to Ioa Valley which was a lovely hike. They allowed flexible check in and check out. Couldn’t recommend it more.
