A great location for our walking exploration of this wonderful part of Lisbon. Easy to locate next to the Pantheon and close to the Metro (although up one of the many hills). Fabulous flat and very quiet and relaxing given its city location. Hope to be back to explore many of the gems left unexplored this time.

Fernando's apartment was perfect for my stay in Alfama: clean, comfortable, and a great location to walk to many beautiful sights, as well as great restaurants and the weekly flea market in this historic Lisbon neighborhood. Inȇs was a great host, very responsive and helpful. I would recommend this apartment for anyone who does not have mobility issues (steep, narrow stairs to the apartment) and travels light (narrow doorway at the street level).

Still Jet lagged from our return flight-- we had a wonderful 2-week stay in Portugal--most was in Lisbon. We loved being in the Alfama area. Inez , who was the local host was very responsive to any issues we had. As others noted, the stairs up to the apartment are steep, but the hills of Lisbon are also steep. We ate and ate and with all the walking we did neither of us gained weight!. Truth be told, we are both in our mid 70's, and we are not likely to go the Air BnB direction for our next trip. But if we did , I would hope for hosts as responsive as Inez and Fernando

We had a great stay at Fernando’s place while we were in Lisbon. The apartment was very clean, spacious, modern and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was fully loaded and with nice washer and dryer built in. Ines met us there and gave us very thorough introductions and nice welcoming gifts. The guest guide book was very informative and the location is in walking distance to most of major attractions. We enjoyed strolling along in the Alfama streets. We would definitely like to stay at Fernando’s place when we visit the city again!
