I and my boyfriend stay for a couple of days there. It will be hard to write nromal review so we will want to mention about pros and cons. Pros: * It has really good view so nature is the biggest pros. * Lika and Komli communicate very friendly and was smiley. * Even though place is crowded with volunteers we never felt like stranger. * Home is unique in terms of design so you felt very special and in unique moment. * They were helpful when we asked to use kitchen and ask any kind of question beside from that. Cons: * Room was not clean. The bathroom and curtain there was really dirty and there were hair strands inside washing cabine. We did not feel comfortable when we were taking shower. * Blankets were reeking, it was really smelling bad. We tried all the blankets they provided in the room but it was all disappointing. * Bathroom is shared with grandma. We did not feel uncomfortable but it may bother other guests. * I think general vibe that is demonstrated in photos was not real too much. It feels like overrated. When you see bamboo forest in picture you suppose it is dense and huge. Yet, it is constructed by them so it does not feel natural. Also, boat tour seems long and lenghty but in reality it just take 2 min to finish. In general, it did not correspond your hype for this place especially in terms of nature. * The place is far way from any market and meal prices were high compare to normal prices so it was unfair. If you do not want to pay for underwhelming meal you should bring your own food. Besides, I think for that kind of remote location these prices is not good and you may in need them. * If you plan silence and vacation away from people it may disturbs you since there are 7 volunteers and their children. * Close to the main building there was new construction site and sometimes it became loud. P.S. Be aware that there is no repayment policy, we had to checked out early and did not get any repayment. Even home owner stated that they are not hotel they are small business so they can not repay it, at least they should have provide half of the payment.

Lika is wonderful host! Recommend this house if you want to dive into georgian tea culture!

Das Zimmer ist wunderschön, groß, gemütlich und kühlt angenehm ab am Abend. Das Grundstück ist herrlich weitläufig, der nahe Fluss lädt zum Baden ein. Die Familie ist sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit, man fühlt sich gut aufgehoben in der Gruppe. Gerne komme ich wieder….

We had a wonderful stay at Komli. It’s a very special and beautiful place. Mariam and her family looked after us so we’ll, told us a lot of stories about their life in Georgia. And the food was delicious. Thanks so much for a great time!

Our stay in Komli was magical: from the hospitality of the whole family (and in particular Lika, who really made us feel at home) to the food (from garden to table) passing by the landscapes / the house ... everything was great and filled with a unique charm. I would definitely recommend Komli, it's one of the places that makes you want to come back every summer. Thank you so much to everyone, not only for our stay but also for the (incredible) efforts that have been made to attract visitors to such an authentic - yet underrated - region that is Guria and share its specifities to the whole world.
