We are in Lima's best area for extended stays and business trips.The apartment is a five minute walk from one of Lima's newest shopping malls - with grocery stores, good restaurants, and banks. The apartment is a three minute walk from a wonderful coffee and pastry shop. Downstairs you have a convenience store for basic necessities. On 2 de Mayo, a ten minute walk from the apartment, you have a larger selection of grocery stores and some of Lima's best dining options (including its best sushi - Zen - and generally loved Pardo's chicken). We are a short taxi from Lima's best museums (el museo nacional de arqueologia and museo larco herrera) and ruins (huaca huallamarca and huaca pucllana). Miraflores (Parque Kennedy) and downtown are a fifteen to twenty minute taxi ride from the apartment.
For folks traveling on business, you can get to Centro Empresario Real San Isidro with a five to ten minute taxi ride. The Zona Financiera is a ten to fifteen minute taxi ride.
In general, San Isidro is regarded as Lima's safest and most modern neighborhood. It's the best area to stay in if you are not planning on spending more than a day or two in Lima.
It is important to note that we can be a thirty to forty five minute taxi ride to Barranco. Construction has been ongoing on the principal road to Barranco and has increased transit time. If you plan on multiple nights there, you might want to stay closer.

Lima's public transportation remains underdeveloped. You're best bet is to take a taxi. In general we recommend using Taxi Satelital, which can be reached at 355-5555 or via their app. Easy Taxi is also popular, but their drivers do not work for the company directly so quality and safety vary. Do not take a street taxi unless you are in a large group, have a firm command of Spanish, and know exactly where you are going.
We typically have parking available for our guests, but please, please confirm beforehand. If we do not have parking, street parking is relatively easy within a block or two.
