Great place to retreat to from the hustle and bustle of the big city when the weather is good as sitting on the porch or in the yard or in the hammock is just divine. AC works great, beds are super comfy and the many grills make for a easy restful time.

Its a Beautiful home set back in the middle ofa corn field. Quiet and peaceful. had everything we needed to functionas a family. I loved walking along the corn field. There is an Omish community down the road that sell fresh, honey, and eggs, and some amazong jams. The bed were very comfy.

Bucolic, older but updated Farmhouse. Booked house for proximity to Dancing Elk wedding, it's 11 mins away on gravel road. Very peaceful setting. Wish we would have been able to sit back and enjoy the house a more but wedding events to attend in Corpus about a 45 min drive. House had internet but no tv service that we were able to wk. The beauty of the property is its secluded, peaceful feeling. Even though there was only 1 full bathroom. The secondary 1/2 bath worked well for our group of 5. The 1/2 bathroom had a small step down that we had to remember but otherwise was a nice addition to the house. This house is in a remote area and is an older house so we were greeted with a couple wasps that needed to be eliminated inside one of the rooms, the fly swatters were helpful. It is in the country so not a surprise. Would definitely rent again next time would rent to relax and enjoy!
