The property consists of a 2 bedroom ground floor apartment with private terrace & adjacent laundry room plus an extra en-suite bedroom on the enormous upstairs sun terrace with private pool, sunbathing area, BBQ zone, dining table & chill-out areas. Just 10 mins drive from Maspalomas and the beach yet totally peaceful. Welcome to Casa Bonita in Calderin. Located just 10 minutes drive from Meloneras and the popular beach resorts of Maspalomas and Playa del Inlges, Calderin is a rural hamlet of mainly rustic properties just a stones throw from El Tablero with its shops, restaurants, bars, supermarkets and shopping centre. When you arrive at Casa Bonita you can park on the quiet street outside or inside the private gates that front the property and enclose the yard that is shared with us as we live next door. The yard, where we have your ping pong table, has been divided with an internal wall with front door to provide you with your own private space and secure access to Casa Bonita. Walking through brings you to the lower level and your downstairs patio area, complete with outdoor dining table (seating up to 6) and parasol. The front door of the main downstairs apartment are straight ahead and walking in, you are greeted with a bright and spacious open plan kitchen/dining/living room with wonderful natural light from the sliding glass doors and windows. The kitchen boasts new appliances, an under counter dishwasher, modern extract over the new induction hob and electric fan oven below. A large fridge freezer is at one end, and modern sink plus Nespresso coffee machine and kettle is at the other. There is an extendable dining table that can seat 6 plus a large sofa that is extendable to convert it into a day bed for binging Netflix or a double bed that can sleep 2 at night. The wall is adorned with a 58" smart TV with soundbar that has Netflix and IPTV (all sports channels, movies and series on demand and every nationalities home TV channels) plus a new LG air conditioning unit. We also have a PS4 with 2 controllers and selection of games which also doubles as a blu-ray/DVD player. The lounge, like all the bedrooms, has a remote control, multi speed silent ceiling fan to keep air circulating in addition to the air conditioning. The living room, as with all guest areas in the property, including outside, has excellent wifi coverage via multiple dedicated wifi access points connected to a high speed fibre optic network. Walking through the living room brings you to the beautifully lit, airy corridor with mirror at the end. To your left, behind a sliding door, is the gorgeous white marble bathroom. Comprising of walk in shower with dual shower unit that includes a rain head, a floating hand basin with storage under, an LED backlit mirror and a modern wc with soft close lid behind a return. Coming out of the bathroom, straight ahead across the corridor is room 2, a bright double bedroom with queen size bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, night tables with reading lamps and power points with USB connections. The sliding door offers you privacy without stealing space, whilst the 2 windows and multi speed silent ceiling fan with remote, keeps your room airy and fresh. Back across the corridor is the door to room 1. This delightfuly cool bedroom with attached dresser and office space has a double bed with bedside tables, reading lamps and plug sockets with twin USBs. The room has 2 windows that let in copious amounts of natural light from the upper terrace and allow a gentle breeze to keep the room fresh and airy. This room also has a Philips Bliss ceiling fan with retractable blades, a brand new air conditioner and another wifi access point to ensure flawless internet throughout the whole apartment. The downstairs apartment is designed to sleep 4 but can accommodate up to 5 people (6 at a push) over the 2 bedrooms if you use the sofa bed in the living room as an extra bed. Walking back through the apartment and out of the tri-fold glass doors and you're back on the lower patio. To your right as you exit the apartment is another door that takes you to your laundry and storage room. this room is, like every other space described here, exclusively for use by you. It contains a modern washing machine and other cleaning equipment along with many beach items that are free for you to use. We have a large selection of beach towels, 2 folding chairs, beach umbrellas, a cool box, beach tennis set, frisbee, football, snorkelling equipment, boogie boards and inflatables with other items being added constantly to our collection. Walking through the patio and turning right brings you to your own private steps up to the stunning rooftop terrace. On the way up you'll discover a well lit BBQ cooking area with 5 burner gas grill for a wonderful outdoor cooking experience. Continuing up the steps and you're greeted by the jewel in the crown, the wonderful rooftop. The illuminated 7.5 by 4m swimming pool is straight ahead and surrounded by a newly laid composite deck. The pool is 1m deep at the shallow end and 1.5m deep at the deep end. To your right is a tiled dining area, covered by a triangular sail to provide some shade and with views down towards the resort of Meloneras and the sparkling sea beyond. Past the dining area is a chill out zone with low furniture under a minimalist pergola, perfect for whiling away the afternoon reading a book or for having a sundown drink. This upper terrace also boasts a modern wc for convenience and a solar powered outdoor shower. The skylights that illuminate and ventilate the apartment below serve to divide the pool from the sunbathing area with space for as many sun loungers as you need. Facing north you can enjoy the most breathtaking views of the interior of the Island as seen up through the valley of Maspalomas. The mountains change colour throughout the day and are particularly stunning as the sun is setting. Facing south you overlook Meloneras with its impressive hotels and sparkling sea view beyond. On this rooftop terrace you will find another door which, as you have reserved the extended property, gives you access to your extra studio. This generous room has the most impressive views in the house with the sea in front and the mountains to the side. The room is set with 2 single beds and fold out single sofa bed. It has its own new bathroom with walk in shower with rain head option, a hand wash basin with storage below and a new soft close wc. The room also has its own TV, also with Netflix, a dedicated wifi access point, air conditioning, a mini fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. The extra room also comes with access to another, much larger part of the roof top terrace, complete with fire pit, gym, more seating options and incredible views of the Mountains behind with the resort of Playa del Ingles and the sea in front. We are a Polish and English couple and we live in the house next door, connected to Casa Bonita so we are on hand throughout your stay to help you make the most of the property and help with any questions or concerns that may have. We are happy to offer any help or advice you might need and between us we speak Spanish, English and Polish. If you would rather be left completely alone, that's also not a problem. It's your holiday and we want it to be as perfect as it can be. We can also recommend and arrange excursions and days out with our trusted local partners, just ask! We have gone to a lot of trouble to make Casa Bonita as luxurious and as much home from home as possible for you. We don't ask for a security deposit as we trust to look after our place as if it were your own.
