I really enjoyed my stay here and think it's a great option. The room was very clean, spacious and attractive (just as per the photos in the listing) and Steffi and her husband were very welcoming and friendly. Steffi's husband is a great conversationalist and has an impressive general knowledge - I really enjoyed our chats! The bathroom and kitchen facilities in the house are very modern and clean, and the location is great - in a very leafy, attractive area of eastern Melbourne and only a few minutes' walk from the tram and bus stops. There are also some cafes and restaurants just a few minutes' walk away. It's a very easy bus commute from the house to Box Hill Central and Box Hill train station, and when wanting to go into the Melbourne CBD, you have the option of either catching the bus to Box Hill train station and then hopping on a connecting train, or catching the tram (the tram will take you directly all the way into the CBD, but be warned that it's quite slow!).
