The cabin is located in the garden of the Old School House in a countryside location. It is simple but elegantly furnished with an ensuite shower room. There are plenty of sockets, lighting and its own strong wi-fi connection. It is cosy, clean and comfortable with a microwave, mini fridge, kettle and toaster. We have provided tea, instant coffee and the basics that you may require for breakfast on the first day. There isn’t a full kitchen or any cooking facilities at the cabin. Perfect for a couple, the cabin is a restful stopover if you are exploring the Blackmore Vale area of north Dorset or even parts of Somerset and Wiltshire, which are only a 10-minute drive away. There is a full-size double bed with a firm mattress. We are unable to provide a travel cot or high chair. If you do need an iron and ironing board, please let us know. Pets are very welcome but we kindly ask that you keep them off the furniture. All bedding and towels are provided for two adults. There is no TV or radio in the cabin but you are able to use the wi-fi to watch any streamed programming on your own devices. No smoking. There are plenty of walks within about a 5–10-minute drive. Please note the cabin is completely self-contained with its own access and it is situated close to the main house. We are beside a country road that sees farm and other traffic, but these noises are minimal at night.
