The City of Pineville is home to the Commonwealth's own Mountain Laurel Festival, which is held annually Wednesday through Sunday during the week of Memorial Day. Shenanigans is a place where you can play games, eat, and socialize. Also, Pine Mountain State Resort is just minutes away which includes miles of hiking trails. On your way to the State Park you will find a world-class golf course Wasito Winds. The famous Pine Mountain State Resort Amphitheatre concert venue is located within 2-3 minutes as well as the Bell Theatre concert and event venue.
Public transportation is not close but there is a taxi service and most places you can walk.
