There were issues with the space that called for a cancellation. Host was responsive-as far as time, but when I gave notice about the issues (nonfunctional tub and microwave) she responded that the cancellation policy says no refund, but the issues were due to the space itself not me. Yes, she responded quickly, but it seems she would not have issued a refund if I did not involve the agency. And after seeing the proof, Air BnB helped me make different arrangements and refunded my payment.
