"Mt Tully House on the Hill" is a large modern brick home on 125 acres, just 10-20 minutes’ drive to the Granite Belt's best cellar doors. At 1020m above sea level, the home looks towards Stanthorpe (15mins down the hill). Enjoy the native birds’ joyful chatter while sipping a morning cuppa on the deck. If you love nature, we are close to national parks with amazing vistas and walking trails to suit all abilities. Need a reason to come? Look for Southern Downs and Granite Belt Events on the web. There are 4 bedrooms available to guests. All beds have electric blankets and there are heaters available for use. You will be warm. There's a wood fireplace in the lounge and plenty of wood and kindling. You'll find many appliances in the well equipped kitchen. There's fast NBN internet and a 75" smart tv with some streaming channels (netflix, apple tv) but you're welcome to sign into your own streaming services.

Weekend away that won’t disappoint! offering peace and quiet along with stunning vistas that wowed us both day and night. The starlit skies were absolutely breathtaking, providing a mesmerizing backdrop for our evenings. We made it a ritual to gather around a crackling fire each night, savoring the simple joys of outdoor living. And after immersing ourselves in the beauty of the nearby National Parks during the day, those fireside moments were the perfect way to wind down and connect with nature. Stanmore delivered an unforgettable experience filled with tranquility and natural splendour.
We had a wonderful time at Mt Tully, all loving the serene location, incredible views, nature and starry skies. The house was large, comfortable and practically laid out for all our needs. It gave us all room to have fun. The teenagers and children really enjoyed the pool table and the outdoors and the adults enjoyed the lovely big deck with views and highly functional kitchen. Everyone enjoyed the firepit and the sightings of wallabies and kangaroos. The spot was great, nice and secluded, which we prefer, but also accessible to the attractions of Ballandean, Stanthorpe and Girraween. A special thanks for keeping the house and outdoors functional and streamlined. Not worrying about breakages or the children having accidents meant we could all relax.

Was a lovely getaway for my sisters wedding! So spacious for 3 families with kids.
It is a good place for staycation with family and friends, large TV, good wifi connection, lots of indoor and outdoor place to seat and have food/drinks, a very nice pool table, overall good place.

The property is accessed via a short drive on a dirt road (when you turn off Mt Tully Road). It is a relatively quiet area, apart from the birds who love to let you know they're here!
The town of Stanthorpe is a 15 minute drive away. Symphony Hill Wines is 10-15 minutes away and the Ballandean Tavern is under 20 minutes away and serves great country pub meals. There are many cellar doors within 10 to 25 minutes away and wine tour companies will pick up from the door.
