We loved staying at Andrea’s she made us feel at home. It felt like the best part of being able to share someones home. Welcoming and unique. Also the carpet floors were great for little one to crawl around on.

When you stay at Andrea’s, you feel at home. As it is a space she lives in, there are items/belongings of hers. However, this did not negatively impact our stay. The area is peaceful. My kids enjoyed the pool and the nature. Andrea is kind and responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed the bottle of wine after hours of planes and the car! Would stay again!!

The house is in a great location. Right across the sreet from the river and only a couple miles away from Calicoon. Andrea was nice and had water and glasses in all the rooms. My family thought it was a very nice gesture. The house was perfect for my family and we reccommend it if you are looking to stay in this area.

Listen, if your looking for what AirBnB has become (sterilized, charmless, hermetic, corporate owned), instead of what it used to be (eclectic, charming, maybe a little slapdash), you should probably look elsewhere. Is Andrea’s place spotless? No. Is it full of personality, comfort, and warmth? You bet. Not only was she responsive and kind but she left us fresh bread and a bottle of wine! The hot tub is hot, the towels and linens are clean and abundant! She even left us bathrobes and adjusted our checkout time so we could stay and enjoy a little longer! The creek, the view, the pastoral ease are all there in spades. AirBnB used to be about lovely people opening up their lovely, lived-in homes to folks looking for a little place to kick up their feet and shake off a long travel day. Andrea’s home is a home and a lovely one at that. We will definitely be coming back. Thanks Andrea!
