Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Enjoy the sun and the moon rising over the bay. Three bedrooms and a Futon, is plenty of space to accommodate 6 - 8 adults and children. With a swing & other seating, the front porch is a perfect place to enjoy the view of the bay & watch the shrimp, oyster, and crab boats leaving or returning to the harbor next door during their seasons. Lots to do in & near Port Lavaca-beaches, historical markers, a history museum, dining, plus more. Recently updated older home with an awesome view of the bay. Bedrooms have either a king, queen, or full size bed. Both bathrooms have walk in showers. Living room has a couch and also a futon for the 4 bed. Additional chairs for seating and TV trays are also in the living room for your use. Kitchen is equipped with an electric cook stove, microwave, Keurig, a drip coffee maker, Air Fryer, refrigerator, pots, pans, dishes, utensils, a homemade ice cream freezer, a frozen drink machine, blender, hand mixer, and a malt or shake maker. There is a washer and dryer in the laundry room. Living room has an A/C and Heat window unit. Each bedroom has a window A/C unit and a heating device. Both bathrooms have small electric heaters for use in colder weather. The metal covered and concrete porch has a swing, two small tables with chairs, a bench for two, a large metal chair, and a small BBQ grill. There are various older games in the living room cabinet and a Corn Hole game in the laundry room. Beach toys and bag chairs are available for your use during your stay and are located in the laundry room. In two of the bedrooms there are examples for a fun shell activity for young and old alike. The various beaches in the area have great shells to make the activity with. Port O’Conner King Fisher Beach is the best place to find the angel wing looking shells. I have compiled a list of things to do in the area that will be left in the house for you to have as a partial guide while you are in the area. A Roku TV is equipped with Sling, and other entertainment channels. You can always log in to your own subscriptions too. Internet password is located near the TV. Plenty of parking directly in the front of the house. In addition to the keypad we also have a coded lock box with a manual key inside. The lock box will have the specific code for you as the key pad does. Additional information will be provided day of check in.

Fishing boat harbor across the street as well as a historical cemetery. Scully’s Sports Bar and Grill sits across the parking lot from the house. There is a small cove right in front of the house that is on City property and when the tide is out, there is a very small beach area. We see fisherman wading in knee deep to rear deep water out in the bay in front of the house. Early mornings and mid to late afternoons during various fishing seasons you will see different boats leaving and coming into the harbor. Bayfront Fishing Pier and Park can be seen from the yard. Lots of amenities without the congestion of the bigger vacation destinations is what drew us to this area.
Parking is in front of the house in the yard. Parking is a mixture of sand, grass, shells, and rock based. Lighthouse Beach is about a mile and a half from the house which makes it within walking distance on the new sidewalks the City has installed. There are a few other restaurants and food trailers within walking distance as well as Bayfront Fishing Pier and Park. Lots of other amenities within a short driving distance.

I started out working at a restaurant, then a small print shop. Later, I worked in banking and a private heavy equipment company. My husband and I have worked in our own auction business 40 plus years, during which time I worked for the school district too. Seeing a need for a child care center, I studied hard and opened one and ran it for almost 19 years. I also studied to become a Realtor. Now semi retired, I enjoy doing life with my family.
