This hidden gem is nestled in the Artists' Quarter of Tzfat under an orange tree. Ideal for a single guest, a couple or a family with one child. Private and peaceful, it is steps away from the popular Artists' Quarter Minyan (AQM) shul as well as shops and galleries. It features one bedroom with bathroom and kitchenette. Above, and accessed from stairs outside, is an sun-filled room that can be a dining area, office, living room, and studio. There is also a large and private stone courtyard. This is a serene hideaway, yet central to all of the sites in the Old City. The bedroom, kitchenette (has a sink, kettle, fridge, microwave, one-burner hotplate, and plata) and bathroom are on the main level. The bedroom has a double bed and a small Moroccan-style bed suited for a toddler. There is a large stone courtyard on this level graced by a huge orange tree (chushchash, to be exact!). This is a tranquil place to relax and have a morning coffee. An outdoor staircase leads to a small patio and the upper studio. With large windows on three sides, this is a bright and airy room, a wonderful spot to relax, have meals, sip tea, and work. Enjoy the sunset over Meiron from this area. There is a couch in this studio room comprised of two foam mattresses. If someone wants to sleeps here, they will have to go outside and down steps to use the bathroom downstairs. The sink is in the downstairs kitchenette, so if you want to eat upstairs, you will have to wash the dishes and fill the urn downstairs. Quirky, quaint, and so Tzfat!
