This was a wonderful spot for our quick getaway. The beautiful sunsets off the back porch were something else. We felt right at home and it was just what we needed for a reset. We will definitely make an attempt to book one of their amazing treehouses on our next visit to DCL.

We can’t say enough about how great this stay was. The pictures were enough to drawn you in and make you curious about what it’s like to stay in a tree house home but believe me, the pictures don’t do it justice! From the architecture to the decor and cleanliness of the home, you’re left wishing you booked more nights! Not to mention, Mike is a great host that really knows the area and is always responsive for anything you need. While the home is very private at the end of a tree lined road, everything the lake and area has to offer is very close. Take our word for it, if the home fits your needs, book it! We can’t wait for the next stay.

Mike was a great host and the house was beautiful and in a lovely location! We arrived at night during a storm with very strong winds. Mike warned us about the house creaking in the wind but reassured us it was solidly anchored to the ground. In fact, the house made less noise than most homes I’ve lived in and felt very solid despite the conditions. Checkin was easy (door code), and the place was cozy and well appointed. The bed, couches, and chairs were very comfortable! I drove an EV out there, and Mike even ran an extension cord to the driveway for me! In the morning the storm had cleared and we woke to beautiful large windows, a huge deck, and lovely forest all around. Points to consider: It’s a beautiful, unique place, and it can sleep ~6 people, but practically it would be hard to have that many because of a small dining table, single bath, small microwave. Exception being, summer when the plentiful outdoor space can be used more. Lovely, but expensive/modest value for size.
