House is cozy, clean and comfortable. Canton is a beautiful area close to everything. My favorite area outside of Asheville. Will definitely return again. Host communication was excellent. Felt welcome and supported if any issues arise.

We booked this place as a last minute decision to go to the mountains. Stephanie got to me immediately after booking and same goes for anytime I reached out to her. My husband had fun driving up the driveway. The cottage was cute and rustic. We went to Dupont state park and Zen tubing, both not that far from where we stayed. My husband enjoyed fly fishing in the near by river. We had a blast.

The cabin is a lovely escape if you’re looking to be in nature and outside of the city. Since it’s up in the mountains, be prepared to drive up a narrow, single lane gravel driveway. The directions were easy to follow and the host marks the way to the house with yellow arrows. The lockbox was very simple to use. Please note there is no physical door to get in, just a glass, sliding door. This is pretty neat if you want to see animals at night —we saw two skunks and a raccoon, but no bears. The neighbor was very lovely and gave helpful insight on the neighborhood and the wildlife. She also backed up when she noticed we were driving up. PRIME LOCATION if you’re looking to go hiking, to Blue Ridge, to Sliding Rock, or Looking Glass Falls. The cabin is loaded with games and movies which was super nice especially if you’re staying for a long time. The downside we had is that the water smelled like hard boiled eggs. The host Stephanie, was great at communicating but unfortunately nothing could be done about the water because it was Sulphur and they needed a professional to come in. And the wifi was slow/poor connection. All in all, I would recommend this cabin.
