Staying two nights at thus place was an experience we will never forget. Gülizar Teyze welcomed us with open arms and quickly became best friends with our 2 year old daughter. We stayed in a room with an amazing view, and didn't lack anything during our stay - we cooked our own food in a well equipped kitchen, but also got the chance to taste amazing homemade dishes that Gülizar Teyze made for us on an old fire stove. Staying at this place was the closest we could get to seeing a traditional life in northern turkey, and observing and spending time talking to this very hard working woman was so inspiring and teaching. You are lucky, if you get the chance to stay at this place. Don't miss it.

Where to start? The place feels like home. It is very cozy, and it has different comfy seatings around the place, some with terrific views of the mountains. There is an option of having breakfast/lunch/dinner made by the hosts’ adorable mother Gülizar. The food is delicious, organic, and at an affordable price. Not to mention that there are snacks provided with a nice conversation with the parents around the warmth of fireplaces. Gülizar made our stay unforgettable. She is just a sweetheart. She treated us like we were her children. She took care of us, helped us learn our ways in the house and took care of my wife when she caught a cold (she prepared traditional hot wet pads for her eyes). Also, she provided us with extra blankets and socks when the heating didn’t work properly one night. She is cheerful and is happy to interact with her guests and make friends. Bring your internet with you. It is a bit weak there but is good upstairs.

It was a lifetime experience we enjoyed our stay, we loved his parents, the view is superrr amazing even much better than the photos . A perfect place to relax and disconnect in the heart of the mountains. -the place is around 1 hour from Trabzon city, and around 2 hours away from Uzungul , and less than 30 mins from Hamsikoy town. -check the weather before you go .. when it’s foggy and raining you won’t see the view. -ziya’s father can drive you to visit places for a fare price. -prepare an internet allowance as there’s no wifi. -get your groceries on your way from the airport.

Ziya helped us arranged the pickup and travel so smoothly. Most of all, the grandma and grandpa treated us with such hospitality that we never spent one moment here without wonder and gratitude. We felt home at a foreign land. Even the villagers treated us with such kindness. This is easily the best Airbnb experience we have had, and we are even a little sad to part from your family and beautiful house. This will be a trip that we keep in our mind for a long time.
