Host did not respond to issues. Had to stay elsewhere as the smoke alarm kept blaring for low battery but couldn’t be replaced without disconnecting the mains. Neither ourselves or air bnb’s support team could get in contact with the host to resolve this. It was reported on our first night but received no response and had to book a last minute hotel for both nights. Came for a wedding and had to come back to the property in the middle of the day to attempt to sort out our second night. Basic amenities such as dish soap, hand wash, tea and coffee weren’t provided despite being included in the listing. Also the dishes in the kitchen had not been cleaned and the were spiders and cobwebs around the house. Location and property would have been nice if the host had been responsive and the property had been properly cleaned. I would not recommend staying with this host. Seems to be run by an agency, kept receiving useless automated messages about our stay.
