One of a kind earth home built in 1983 nestled in the foothills just 2.6 miles above downtown Boise. The structure of this unique home is made of varying thicknesses of concrete. Owners purchased the home in 2008, residing until 2017. Since then, majority of their free time was spent working on thorough renovation which included new plumbing, electrical and HVAC system. Completed early April 2021, the long duration of time was taken to ensure that every detail was pristine. Although compact in size, the home is composed of four sleeping spaces and 2.5 bathrooms. Two formal bedrooms and two full size baths are located downstairs while two others, including a space designed specifically with tiny humans in mind, and the half bath are located in the dome loft area. Please be aware, the ceilings in the dome are concrete and not very tall therefore those spaces may not be very comfortable for guests over 6ft tall. Beds accommodate sleeping for 9 guests, tenth guest is possible on a twin size air mattress, pack n play, and/or toddler bed (all available for use however, require advanced request). The common area features a flowing open concept. Trip enjoyment is our top priority when guests book a stay at our Boise Dome Home, therefore we take pride in making sure the home is stocked with essentials such as toilet paper, napkins, paper towels, disposable dishes (should you want to forgo washing dishes during your stay), a variety of coffees, teas and creamer, food storage bags and wrap.
