Moffat Falls Cottage is also fully self-contained, one bedroom cottage overlooking Moffat Falls stunning waterfalls and mountains sleeping up to 2 people. The Cottage is ideal for a couple. Guests can spend their days fly-fishing for the elusive rainbow trout in the crystal-clear mountain streams or bushwalking in 55,000 ha of remote wilderness, swimming in our crystal-clear swimming holes and bushwalking in the six surrounding national parks including New England National Park.

The cottage is in the most stunning location with easy access to great walks in Cathedral Rock, New England and Oxley Wild NPs Very no frills. Clean, tidy and comfortable with amazing views. Note that fishing is only allowed if done through a guided tour.
What an awesome place to get away from it all. While I stayed here mid summer there was a cold snap and it got down to 10 degrees overnight. The fireplace was set up ready to go so I was warm and comfortable and had such a beautiful outlook over the mountains and moffat falls. Will stay here again.
The most beautiful place to stay, stars at night were unbelievable, fire place made it so cosy and warm. Sunrise and sunset were just stunning, can't wait to go back.
Basic accommodation in a beautiful location with amazing views over the valley and private waterfall. The perfect location for a getaway.

Hi, my name is Lorraine and I am passionate about the bush and its people. My family lives in "God's country" on what is now the highest cattle property in Australia adjacent to Heritage listed New England National Park. We have the best of both worlds - the bush and the beach as we live at both Point Lookout and at Urunga on the coast. We enjoy sharing a beautiful space with other people. I hope you enjoy your stay in this very special part of Australia.
