Vanessa’s place was incredible! She was so kind and thoughtful and went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible. The cabin is so cozy and the views are unbeatable! We had the best weekend and can’t wait to come back again soon!

tranquil quiet and beautiful setting. older home, but very comfortable and neat. Beds are extremely comfortable and cozy. Vanessa is sweet, always available, and quick to assist. The homemade scones she baked were yummy and a pleasant suprise. I'm definitely returning in warmer months. This home has an assortment of water craft to enjoy. I do recommend this vacation home !

We had the most wonderful time at The Forest Nook overlooking beautiful Yankee Lake! Vanessa is an amazing host and makes sure everything is just right for a perfect getaway. She even left us delicious, homemade chocolate chip muffins for us to enjoy upon our arrival! This is our second time here and we brought our grandkids along this time… they had the best time fishing, boating, swimming & enjoying the lake! The fire pit was a big hit as well as the s’mores that accompanied it! We highly recommend Vanessa’s place if you are looking for a peaceful but fun getaway! This location is simply magical! Thank you again for a unforgettable long weekend!

The nook is exactly what I was looking for. The location was perfect the views were unimaginable. Vanessa as a host is incredible. She welcomed us with a delicious cake and offered us great suggestions. I did not want to leave and can not wait to be back. Thank you again Vanessa!
