The house is a renovated farmhouse surrounded by meadows and small forests. The location at the end of a long dirt road with only a few neighbors gives you the feeling that you are all by your self. The water is 2-300 meters away and the sunsets by the sea are marvles. Pets are welcome - and there is a small horse available right next to the house. The main house was originally build in the middle of the 1800s. It has a kitchen with pantry, a spacious commonspace, two bedrooms, and two open mezzanines. The smaller house has the bathroom a storage room and a simple but nice bedroom. The Kitchen is kept in simple Scandinavian style has electric stove and oven dishwasher and is in general fairly well equipped. You are welcome to use food from the pantry as you might need :) The kitchen has a door out to the small court yard and a door to the terrace on the west side of the house - which is probably the best place for the afternoon tea. The heart of the house is the open common-space which has an open ceiling and is directly connected with all the other rooms and the big terrace on the south-side of the house. It where we would have dinners, play games or just relax by the fireplace. The two bedrooms in the main house have doors out to the terrace on the east-side of the house - which is probably the best place for the early morning coffee :) The bedroom in the small house has a big window facing the garden and is a very nice (my personal favorite) place to sleep but best in not-to-cold conditions. The bathroom has a shower a toilet and a washing machine and in the storrage room next door you'll find the dryer and cleaning remedies. The outdoors consist of a small courtyard between the houses, a big terrace on the south side of the house, two smaller terraces facing east and west, the yard and the horse pasture. The yard has a big lawn with scattered trees (incl. apples and cherries) a trampoline and a small creek running through. Right on the other side of the creek is our small horse pasture - without electricity in the fence unless you choose to set it up :) There is also a small workshop in the yard. The outdoors have a very safe and very private feel with no cars and only occasionally a few hikers or horseback-riders coming by the house. The harbor, where there is a sauna and you occasionally can buy fish from the fishers, is just 11 minutes away. The local grocery store is 9 minutes away and the closest (and to my taste best winery on Røsnæs) is just 5 minuttes away.
