Its a great place to stay and is within 30 minutes of Whiteface and most of the hiking trail heads off Rt 73. Communication with the host was great, check in was very easy and the place was very clean, well stocked with everything you needed plus some really great coffee, freshly baked desert and breakfast treats and beer on tap! We would stay there again and highly recommend the Lewis Brook Lodge to others.

Truly cannot find the right words for how incredibly lovely and welcoming Rebecca and Chris are as hosts. Every previous review is spot on and so much more in wonderful surprises. Rent this place! We came to the to ski Whiteface which was huge even with the unusual warm weather. It is so breathtakingly beautiful in the Adirondacks plus the history so rich and fascinating. We toured the Olympic Museum on one of our rainy days which we highly recommend. place is so Lewis Brook Lodge is convenient to Lake Placid, Whiteface, Keene and Wilmington. We even considered exploring farther out but sadly ran out of time. We cannot wait to return to Lewis Brook Lodge for it truly is a precious gem of a place and the hosts kinder than any words can express. The hosts have pure hearts of gold.

After reading all other reviews I had to book a stay, and I can say every review has been correct ! Staying here is like going to that favorite Aunts home , who doeant bother you ,but appears with fresh baked Cinnamon buns right when you are needing a sweet snack Rebecca' goes beyond all expectations. And location to sking is perfect! My family loved staying here!!!

Rebecca’s place was a dream! It was so cozy and we felt right at home. It was a great location for all outdoor activities and I was really wowed by all of the thoughtful touches around the Airbnb. It’s clear she puts a lot of work into it! We’d be happy to come back sometime
