We have recently returned from a one week stay at this apartment. The apartment met all of our needs, it's clean, modern and reasonably well-equipped but it's star quality is the balcony with it's great views. We appreciated the well-fitted bathroom, the washing machine and the two reasonable sized bedrooms. We felt the kitchen could do with a few more bits and pieces - the only chopping board we could find was the size of a paperback novel and there are no kitchen knives for chopping other than a large bread knife or some flimsy steak knives, but everything else we needed was there and of reasonable quality. There were only two of us, so not having a dishwasher - and just a very small kitchen sink - was manageable, but for a family of four it might be a bit of a chore. The only negative experience was communication with Eleni herself. Although I messaged several times regarding our arrival time (and never got a reply other than an auto-response asking me what time I was arriving???) there was no one to meet us on arrival which was late at night. The apartment was in darkness and we were tired. We called Eleni and her husband Costas came in five minutes to let us in and leave us the keys, but it really didn't feel like much of a welcome. During the week we had no contact from Eleni - although her son who lives downstairs popped up with some cakes. I did request a slightly (30 mins) later check out at the end of the week which she agreed to by a very short text. Other than that nothing, which in my Airbnb experience was surprising. No suggestions of places to go, where to eat, or checking in to see if everything was OK. Petriti itself is still pretty undiscovered. It's a modern fishing village - not quaint and charming - but the harbour is nice to stroll around. There are three tavernas along the beach, and one in the harbour. We only tried the Limnopoula taverna - by far the most popular, probably as it has a small jetty so the tenders can tie up when people from the flotillas are coming to shore. It's fine, busy, with ok fish and seafood but again lacked real charm and nobody was that friendly. The village beach is a bit scrubby and there is very little if any shade (there were no sun umbrellas provided at the apartment). We much preferred the little beach Paralia Notos which you can walk to through a little hidden path on Petriti beach. There is a much prettier little beach and two much friendlier tavernas on the rocks, which also have sunbeds and umbrellas which are free if you eat and drink there. if you have a car take a trip to Bouka a little river village with nice tavernas along the riverside.

Very nice place and enough room for family with three children. Big and beautiful balcony and everything you need if you want to cook in the kitchen. Nice beach and tavernas nearby. Would recommend definately if you are looking peaceful place for a vacation home!

L’appartement est spacieux et bien équipé. Il y a une grande terrasse avec une belle vue sur la mer. Le propriétaire nous a donné des fruits et légumes du jardin. Ces belles attentions étaient très agréables.

We were so happy to stay at Eleni- Kostas!! The house is just perfect! In reality looks so much better then in pictures! The apartment is very spacious, clean, the kitchen equipped everything you could need on holiday and even more- we found even juicer! We also were able use the BBQ.. The beds were comfy, with lots of pillows. Air conditioning in the bedrooms was very convenient. And the best part of the apartment is huge terrace with the stunning views...The location of Eleni-Kostas is little up on the hill so we could see the port, see and beautifull mountain landscape of the Greece. We came with the scooters, but there is free parking for the car at the street. However we do believe, that best way to explore Corfu is by scooter, it was very fun and convinient! We also want to thank for hospitality of the host, who welcomed us with bottle of local wine and goodies from his own garden! Overall it was an amazing stay, we wish we could stay for a longer.. dreaming to come back once again to Corfu and no doubt we would stay in the same appartment!
