We have had a lovely stay at Carla’s villa. The booking was easy and convenient. We had all the information required to arrive to the property and a local guide which was very useful. It was our very first Airbnb experience. Carla took the time to be on the loop for us to answer questions. She was proactive in securing we had a welcoming uneventful stay. The property: it is as shown on the photos, the location is amazing and has impressive views on each side to the north and south. It has a garage but a slight difficult access to park the car, so we parked off road just a few steps from the main entrance to the villa. The villa’s garden was kept impeccable. Flowers and plenty of area to enjoy and relax. It was mostly quiet, there are neighbours and they had some diy/ occasional work going on , we didn’t mind as we were out in the day most days. Quiet fresh nights or a morning coffee in the patio area with seating and dining table. There’s no bbq area if you are a fan, we didn’t need it. Inside there were three levels the top with a very well equipped kitchen, dining area and bathroom utility area with washer and dryer fridyfreezerand airing dryer for drying outdoors too. The sea view from the dining area was a plus! The mid floor has the shower and living area where they could accommodate 2 more guests -they have a sofa bed available. This room opens into the patio and garden which also leads to impressive sea views. The downstairs floor has to bedrooms the master bedroom has a double bed and TV and fitted wardrobes. TV and internet worked perfectly for us. Netflix for the kids.. The children bedroom had a large bunk bed plus a baby cot and some storage drawers. We had a hire car, would recommend this as there is very little transportation if you want to explore. Quality: the property has very good quality and Carla’s has made it very welcoming and beautiful for guests. It was clean and we had utensils to maintaining tidy. The basic were included. Towels and bedding all very clean. There were books and toys for children. A pram or two available, though we didn’t get to use it. The rules: the house has its accommodation rules, Carla sends you the info. Nothing we wouldn’t do in our own property. The rubbish management in Sardinia is strict. They come every day collect different things… this was a bit of a nightmare having to return late tired and hve to go at midnight to take bins out and also getting it right and in the right container… but I suppose this is the same across Calasetta. The location: I just fell in love with Calasetta. The local beach spiaggia grande is a total dream for my children. It was hard to find restaurants opened at anytime as it was low season. These were opened in evening and for lunch a few hours. But we managed ok.. there are shops locally and in San Antioco too. The booking-in: Flavia welcomed us and gave us a tour. Was available on the phone. Quick response and helpful as well as Carla. The cameras: there is a camera in the main access to the property in the kitchen area. We noticed it would turn on and off and understand it’s for security. This is explained on your booking. Problems: patio lights did not work, we notified this but it didn’t affect our stay. We could manage with the indoors light. Carla apologised and would probably attend this issue. Thank you for our lovely stay.

Carlas Haus ist wirklich etwas Besonderes, sowohl was die Ausstattung als auch die Architektur betrifft. Es hat zweieinhalb Ebenen: Oben liegt der grosse Hauptraum mit Küchenzeile, Eßplatz mit Blick aufs Meer und ein Bad, durch ein schmales Kindergitter kommt man nach unten in das Wohnzimmer mit Sitzgarnitur (die Ausziehcouch hat uns bestens als 2.Bett gedient!) und der Terrasse mit schönem grossen Eßtisch sowie einem weiteren Bad, und über weitere Stufen kommt man in das kleine Schlafzimmer mit 140er Bett und das praktisch fensterlose Kinderzimmer. Die Ausstattung ist gehoben, sehr modern und geschmackvoll, optimal für eine junge Familie mit ein oder zwei Kindern oder für Leute, die mit dem Zeitgeist gehen. Besonderes Bonbon: TV nur digital, Netflix und Amazon Prime! Das Haus liegt am Ende einer Häuserreihe oben an einem Nordhang (Sonne zum Frühstück!) und hat daher sowohl Rasen an zwei Seiten als auch Freifläche außerhalb. Ein kleiner Supermarkt und ein Strand sind in ca 10 bzw. 20 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Wir haben hier zehn schöne Tage verbracht und die ruhige Insel erkundet. Calasetta selbst ist wenig attraktiv, nach San Antioco ists aber nicht weit.

Unsere Zeit in Carlas Airbnb war sehr schön :) Angekommen, haben wir uns direkt sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut ausgestattet, ließ sich durch die Klima immer kühl halten und wird den Bildern großteils gerecht. Die Lage war auch sehr gut, da die Strände und die Kleinstadt in Fußnähe sind, es aber dennoch ruhig ist. Carla war die ganze Zeit super erreichbar. Außer ein paar Armeisen und Motten in den Bädern, war die Unterkunft sonst einfach top und weiterzuempfehlen.

Carla ist eine überaus zuvorkommende Gastgeberin und die Kommunikation mit ihr und Flavia war schnell, unkompliziert und zuverlässig. Carla's Haus ist nicht nur geräumig und toll gelegen (man kann die Sonnenaufgänge und Sonnenuntergänge über dem Meer vom Garten aus sehen!), sondern auch perfekt für einen erholsamen und angenehmen Urlaub ausgestattet. Calasetta ist zudem ein netter Ort, von dem aus man sehr gut den Südwesten Sardiniens erkunden kann. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank nochmals für die schöne Zeit! 😀
