Overall, think the space was good. Loved the nice little fireplace and that there was a full kitchen and fairly clean bathroom. Big issues that i wasn't aware of until dropping off boyfriend was just how steep the stairs were and with a low ceiling which he hit his head on a few times. I almost did too and I'm 5 ft 3. Kitchen had some greasiness to it when he'd arrived and some hair had been left behind in the bathroom shower drain. He also couldn't get the oven to work and It was also a bit smaller than expected based on the photos. I think with another once over of the kitchen, a fixing of the oven and more clear mention of just how steep the stairs and low the ceilings were it could be a 4 or 5 star instead for me (but mostly for shorter folks).

France’s place is a true hidden gem. From the first contact upon my questions prior to confirming, France was very attentive, responsive, and compassionate about our stay. We felt at home with her hospitality and kindness. She greeted us upon check-in and always checked up on us to see if there was anything that she could do to make our stay better. France’s location fosters a perfect place feeling of domestic tranquility and overall home like substitute. I have experienced many locals, and by far France’s place far exceeded my expectations.

Place was neat, clean and close to everything you need. You have private parking behind a gate on the premises. France was proactive and quick to respond. You have the upstairs apartment on the main home that matches the photos exactly as advertised. Could have used a better bed, but in all fairness, I’m picky. Great stay with a great host at a great value.
