We are repeat guests of this beautiful salt marsh gem. The screened-porch and long pier are perfect to watch the gorgeous sunrises & abundance of local wildlife. The kitchen is well-supplied for cooking in.

Incredible place - the home was beautiful and the surroundings were breathtaking. We spent a lot of time just watching the bay and taking the ferry to Cape Lookout. If you like wildlife, this was an great spot.

What a fabulous place! It’s the perfect location for anyone wanting to explore Cape Lookout, Beaufort and the Crystal Coast beaches…and then returning to a quiet, low-key birding paradise where you’ll see herons, ibis, egrets, osprey and eagles (bring your binoculars!). Renee’s house truly feels like a home away from home. It’s worth noting the quality of construction of the house. Some AirBnBs can feel like cheap DIY flips that only look good in photos. This house has solid doors to the bedrooms, stairs that don’t creak, heavy cabinets, etc. On top of that the beds are comfortable and there were plenty of pillows and blankets. 5 stars!

Gorgeous home that we can't wait to recommend to other North Carolinians. Absolutely beautiful back deck and bedrooms that have views of the sound and the deck going out to the sound among the reeds. Everything we needed and very straightforward instructions. These hosts are pros. It's a remote area and not much going on but perfect for what we needed following the holidays. A perfect reset. We would highly recommend you visit the Core Sound Waterfowl Museum for some local history and visit Katie down the road at Wild Rose Stained Glass. We had SUCH a fun class with her making some art. Thanks for everything!
